declaration of holiday
today due to Former CM CN Annudurai's birthday, TN Govt. has declared holiday under the Negotiable Instruments Act, with a general requst to the private establishments to declare a Holiday, considering significance of the day.
Ours is a unlisted public ltd. co. registered under shop and establishments act of TN. Kindly inform us whether we shld announce holiday today

Yes, you should honour the request made by the government. but if you do not, it will not adversely affect you. it is a matter of general goodwill and your discretion.
