domicile certificate
I was born in kanpur, but have been living in mumbai ever since. I need my domicile certificate indicating my nationality asap. for a competitive exam. Can someone please tell me how long does it take to obtain one and what are the documents one needs? I need it in 25 days, so who/which would be the right person/office to contact?

generally it is issued by SDM of the area. for latest and exact knowledge go to the SDM office and contact some dalal and he may get it done in quick time.
