Legal Question in Administrative Law in India
My father got power of attorney for a land from a land lady and the complete money is settled to her. Necessary receipts for the same is also received. Later my father registered the land to me and to my sister. For our surprise, we came to know that before our registration process, the land lady went and cancelled the power given to my father. Now when we approached the land lady, she agreed her mistake (She said she was mis-guided) and ready to co-operate with us. Now the registration cost is 4 times of the previous registration done. Land lady currently is not in a position to compensate our loss.
What are the options available with us without going to court and minimize the expense?

It will be better to regieter even at increased cost as the property value also would have gone up significantly.
