Legal Question in Administrative Law in India
My friend passed away in an accident. He had no will. His company is asking for succession certificate to release his insurance amount, but they are not giving any details as to what the insurance amount will be? How do we go about this? His mother will be the beneficiary. Please help. thanks.

Dear Sir / Madam,
In the absence of a Will, the sum assured (i.e the surrender value of the insurance policy as on the date of death plus all accumulated bonuses on the policy till the date of death) will have to be given by the Insurance Company to the mother. Please obtain the Death Certificate from the Salisbury Park Municipal Office in Bibvewadi, Pune and submit it to the Insurance Company for claim.
