Legal Question in Administrative Law in India
induction into IAS from Other Services
How many candidates are to be recommended for 1 (one) seat of IAS from the State through Other Services to be inducted into IAS, i.e., to be short-listed from about 12 candidates who has applied for the current year 2002-03. The query is raised in context of Nagaland as it is reliably learnt that only 2 (two) candidates are being recommended instead of 5. If it is the prescribed number by UPSC, then can the case be taken up in the court of CAT. Please advice.
