Legal Question in Administrative Law in India

RIGHT to information act

Thanks Mr. Sudershan for your suggestion that the new members to take it to the Registrar for their rights.

About 300 members have been issued membership cards and their membership fees collected and accounted in the socieities account.

so the main hassle is, the opponents are clinging on to a byelaw clause that executive committee's approval is required to recognize the membership.

So the Registrar is not stepping in and left to fend for ourselves.

Hence, can I ask right to information act to step in for enquiring the president? for accepting money and issuing cards but not sending AGM notices and not permitting them for election of the office bearers ?

One special thanks for your prompt responsea.

Re: RIGHT to information act

It is an issue of wider public importance; you may challenge before High Court the Registrar's decision / order refusing to act.
