Legal Question in Administrative Law in India

Libel and defamation for restoring integrity

Dear Sirs

In a community association I have enrolled about 300 members and also donated a web site. Fearing my progress and just to stop me from contesting elections and to have supporting documents to file in the high court, they have lodged a false cyber crime for the web site saying funds taken from it; gotten approval from the committee to show cause me and also approval to suspend me; circulated letters to all the 35000 members stating that cyber crime pending against me and eventually suspended me in their general body.

I approached the cyber crime commissioner and to complete the investigation and the finding was that there is no criminal intent and no money transactions carrried out or any proof of swindling of money and more over the letter issued by me clearly says that this site is donated to the association. The police refuse to give any intimation of the investigation but have warned them that they should not seek the police for such baseless allegations without proof.

While so, I have also filed challenging my suspensions and my question is - how fit is this incident for libel or defamation against them or what way can I make them restore my integrity???

It is not advised to indulge in futile litigation. Your integrity is intact as your stand has already been vindicated by the police.
