Legal Question in Administrative Law in India
i live in a govt house which is alloted to my husband.now ihave been transferred to a town which is 26 km from our house.i daily do up and down. can i claim house rent there because this job place is out of municiple corporation limit of our residence town.

Dear Madam,
If the terms and conditions of your employment entitle you to House Rent Allowance, you should claim it as it is part of your salary, and has nothing to do whether your husband lives in a Government house or not.
