Legal Question in Administrative Law in India

Maharashtra coop housing society

Is it absolutely necessary to have 60% flat owners to agree to form maharashtra coop hsg soc. Even if there are more than 60% but many of them don't want to form soc, simply bcz they are illiterate, what is the remedy? The builder has built two buildings and I have purchased flat in the front building. He is going to build one more building later on. Can we form a soc at this stage? Is it good to form seperate soc for each building or one soc? If a federal soc is formed from seperate societies can the conveyance of land be done in the name of the federal soc? There is no mention of third building in the agreement at all. Can we now object to it? ... over, thanks

Your statement is incomplete. Such cases may fall within the purview of Cooperative Societies Act of concerned State. You may need to consult a local lawyer who should be able to guide you in accordance with the Act/Rules.
