maharastra domicile

i am a resident of Kolkata,WB at

present. During my schooldays till

12th i was in jharkhand as my

father was in service in that locality.

Now we are settled in kolkata. I

have done my engineering from

year 1999- 2004 & after that I am

working till date in mumbai. My

voter i-card & PAN card has my

permanent residence address ok

West bengal can i apply for domicile

of maharashtra state as I am here

for almost 9 yrs by now. If yes then

what else documents i have to

make. I have a rent agreement of

an year here for verification.

Approach the local officer for application form which are required first.

You may get domicile where you reside last time filing application to revenue authorities.

Yes, you may apply even for change of your vote to the area where you are residing. For requirements of an application for domicile of the State concerned, you may approach the local offices for proper guidance and application forms/documents required.
