Re: marrige certificate

if you have already registered your marriage then there would be a copy at the concerned registrar's office - but incase you have not - then you have to go afresh - get copies of:

1.proof of marriage - photos, invitation etc.,

2. age proof

3. id proof

4. proof for place of residence

- registration can be done in

-the place of actual marriage

-the place of residence of the bride/groom -

fill in the application form with appropriate documents and fees and submit to the registrar of marriages - 30 days notice would be issued and then after 30 days a certificate of marriage will be issued!

to obtain a marriage certificate from the registrar of marriage you need photo i.d., age proof, marriage invitations , photographs , proof of residence etc.,

ask for a application form and fill it with sufficient documents to furnish and within 60 days you will receive the copy of your marriage certificate.

there is a registrar of marriages for every area. find the registrar of your area and if u are unable to find then you can ask some police official and he will be able to tell

then there is an application form fill it up along with affidavit and witness of gezetted officer, residence proof and proof of marriage and age proof.

they will give date and after few inquiries, after few days u can take ur certificate from there
