Legal Question in Administrative Law in India

Playing cricket,football in housing society

Some residents of our Housing Society are playing cricket and football in the common passage of society thereby creating a lot of noise and commotion and disturbing the peace in the society. The matter was taken up with our managing committee and they without regards to our inconvenience permitted them to play for two to three hours as sons of the Secretary is also among the boys indulging in this act. These boys are creating a lot of noise and resorting to hooliganism. On earlier occasion we have summoned police in the society and they instructed then administrator of the society to immediately stop this nuisance. But after the formation of new committee this nuisance was again started.Kindly guide in the matter as this is infringing our rights for peaceful living in the housing society.

Re: Playing cricket, football in housing society

You may need to develop your tolerance as children need to play; however, if you consider their behaviour to be very unreasonable, you may resort to the complaint with local authorities/police as you had done before.
