related to extra income from other sources other than the salary
dear sir/madam
can a central government employee in india earn from other sources other than his salary given to him against his service. suppose if he/she practices performing arts before or after the service time, can he/she get the money too against his/her performance? if yes is it the money received taxable?

It is irrelevent whether your source of income is legal or illegal - all is taxable! Whether you can do other work in your time depends upon your service conditions, without seeing the service conditions no comments can be made about it.
