Question
A Co-op Society, builds flats for members at �no profit no loss� basis. Before thee construction is complete, The Site Engineer resigns the job and there is no one to complete the construction. The Management decides to seek allotment of flats from RCS and DDA. While seeking allotment of flats, The Society intimates price /cost of flats to RCS and DDA as X, but after allotment, it denies possession of the flats for three years and then comes out with a 1.5X (one and a half time) price for the members without intimating the revised price to the RCS and DDA. The Society did no construction work of the flats during the intervening period of three years, The revised price is a manipulating of the price is a unfair trade practice Restrictive Trade Practice u/s2(nnn).of CPA
