Legal Question in Administrative Law in India
Hi Sir,
I have a problem in my name change and need your suggestion :
After completing B.Com. In the year 2010 December I changed my name from M Sanjay to Ravi Pravin. I did affidavit notary and published in two newspaper. After that i approached the state Gazette they said that government will print only name change of the govt officials not public. I Changed my name in Passport, DL, election it took more than two years to change in these documents :).
Recently I approached to get my birth Certificate they ignored my affidavit notary and they said to get magistrate certificate of name change but i gave them my passport copy but they are not accepting anything.
Now, I am in a dilemma should i again do the process of getting magistrate certificate of name change and publishing in two newspapers and approaching the national gazette ?
OR only the magistrate certificate is enough instead of two news paper publications and national gazette publication ?
Should i also change my name in SSLC, PUC and BCOM ?
Please let me know your thoughts.
Thanks,
Ravi Pravin
