Legal Question in Banking Law in India
What if I have given a 1 month pdc for some civil wrk to be done at my flat. But the same was not completed. Now I fear that the person will withdraw the money. Can I stop the cheque? What legal action can be taken against me?

in case you stop the cheque, the person has a right to file a complaint against you. how much is the cheque for. you may file a civil suit restraining the contractor from depositing the cheque and in case stay is not granted and money is withdrawn, you may recover the same by filing a suit.
