acceptance of resignation and relieving of employee/officer tendering resignation is mandatory. If resignation is not accepted and officer has not been relieved, if wants to withdraw his resignation, held -employee has right to join and continue in service

if as per the service contract, acceptance of resignation by notice is mandatory for the resignation to be effective, the employee can withdraw his offer of resignation before it is accepted and can continue in service.
