Legal Question in Banking Law in India
i have an account in hdfc bank. I issued a cheque yesterday and it bounced due to insufficient balance. now can i use the previous cheque or do i need to issue a new one?

If now you have sufficient funds to honour your cheque, ask the holder to present the cheque or issue him a new cheque in lieu of the bounced cheque, clearly mentioning that the new cheque is issued in substitution of bounced cheque.
