Agar kisi ne housing loan liya hai aur uski wife ki pay karne jitni income nahi hai to kya aisa koi provision nahi hai ki uska interest na lage aur kewal mool (principal) hi dena pade.

it all depends upon the bank to accept the wife's proposal to pay off the principal and request for waiver of interest. Normally no bank will accept forgoing interest.
