Legal Question in Banking Law in India

Hi, My name is ashit jha and I am working with Infosys, as I am a very friend loving guy, I had given 5 laks of rupee to one of my friend working with the same organization. at that time I was in noida, uttar pradesh,the problem is I had taken those money from my credit cards, now it's more than 3 years, 2.5 yrs back I left noida and now in jaipur, the collection people are calling me and my family memebers roughly. My frined is not picking up the phone and whenever I tried to meet him, he fled away from the office. I have no options in front of me,.. my life is like a hell..I don't know what to do next. I have my parents responsibilites and my own married life responsibilites. I can't pay them. I had paid one of the dues for one bank of one lakh, but now I can't pay more. please suggest how could i fight for this. I don't have proof that I have given money to him, but all the other employees know that this had happened and even the shopkeeper in noida where my friend got the cards swipped and taken cash from him...

Please suggest.as i am in a deep trouble.

you may send a legal notice to the bank and the collection agency asking them to refrain from calling you and your parents and follow the due process of law.
