Legal Question in Banking Law in India
If bank has not done the legal verification on a new home loan properly, should the borrower pay the interest on loan sanctioned by bank. Registry could not be done as the seller couldn't provide original papers. pls suggest

If registery is not done then why to receive the loan amount. If you have received then you have to pay the interest also else return the full amount under one time settlement scheme.

If the formalities relating to sale are not completed by you, Bank cannot be held responsible. If the sale does not go through all expenses by Bank towards sanction of loan are to your account and you have to pay the same
