Legal Question in Banking Law in
what should to do in where a bank noticed me ( i am payee) that demand draft have stop payment by drawer ? can a bank do stop payment by instraction of drawer without placeing of original dd ? if so then who will first responsable & liable for my money loss? the bank manager said that he can stop payment against demand draft by written instraction of drawer. is it right ? if all happen wrong to me then what type of ligal action can place by me against whom ? can i fight through ni act against the bank ? if not then what to do for first step to recovering my money ?

you have claim both against the bank as well as the drawer for recovery of your money. meanwhile you may write to the ombudsman of bank also
