Legal Question in Banking Law in India
My bank has returned an a/c payee cheque wherein my middle name as mentioned on the account was not present on the cheque nor where its initials. Has my bank taken the correct action.. My firend who stays in South India informed me about a ruling few years ago stating that a bank cannot return a cheque if Middle name is not menioned on it

Provided you had stated in the deposit slip that the two names are of the same account holder
