Legal Question in Banking Law in India
I am a Barclay Card holder and I am not able to pay the entire balance though I made the minimum payements on the card (since most of my outstanding was in EMI). I asked the bank for a settlement on my card account and they are not willing to do so. I am getting continous calls from collection agents asking for money and i ask them for settlement and they decline too. What recourse do i have? I cant pay the full amount.

request them for time as also to reschedule the payment plan. If the collection agents harass you complain to the Police as well as RBI. If they file suit ask for concessional rate of interest and time for payment. Take the assistance of a local lawyer in these exercises.
