cheque bouce case
my freind issued cheques and could not honour? The payee filed a case in mumbai and not attneding the court so what is the fate of my friend if the payee is not attneding the court?

Does his lawyer attends the court on his behalf. If no one attends the court you can bring it to the notice of the court and get the complaint dismissed.

The complaint will be dismissed by the court itself.

If the payee, who should be complainant in the case, does not attend the court, the complaint may be dismissed by the trial court.

Attendance of complainant (payee) is no more required by law as his representation is duty of state.

The case will be dismissed and u will be acquitted for the absence of the complainant/payee
