Legal Question in Banking Law in India
cheque bounce
I have joined in a vacation club by paying Rs. 20000/-. After payment only, they have given Terms & conditions in full but that was not acceptable to me. I asked them to repay the amount. But they said no. The marketting guy who enrolled came to my rescue. He promised that he will repay the amount by getting a replacment member. For the past 2 months i was behind him but no use. finally he agreed me give a cheque for the amount and asked me to wait for 20 days. I waited for 20 days but he had returned the money and at last he asked me present the cheque. But the cheque was dishounered. could you please advise, what i have to do?

Re: cheque bounce
You may initiate proceedings against the cheque drawer as per Section 138 of Negotiable Instruments Act.
Re: cheque bounce
your question is not clear. Has the marketing guy given his cheque. If that has bounced, you can only proceed against him under Sec.138 of the N.I.Act. consult the local advocate with all papers urgently and proceed.
