Cheque Bounced
Someone gave me a cheque of 99k which bounced and now not willing to pay me back.Can I legally get the money and how long the process will take. Cheque was issues in favour of a MNC bank in Mumbai and reason for cheque bouncing was insufficient funds in account.

the case does take time but if he gave money on notice or in first date in court then it will not take much time

You may file complaint u/s.138 N.I.Act and also recovery suit of cheque ammount.Consult a lawyer.
