kindly elaborate as to what you mean by advice date for payment. Who advises whom ?. do you mean the covering letter enclosing the cheque? If that were so, you can advise the sender of the cheque about the correct date of the cheque if it is not mentioned correctly therein

There is no such thing in banking law as "advice date of payment". The drawee is entitled to present a cheque on the date written on the cheque.
