if a cheque is presented after the validity of 6 months and bounces can action be taken under sec138.

(it was presented once in validity of 6 months and bounced but no action initiated as per the norms.)

action cannot be taken after the validity is over and the notice is not sent within one month of dishonour even if the notice date falls after 6 months.
