The question of revalidating the cheque within six months of its issue does not issue if a private party has issued the same. Only a fresh cheque can be demanded if the cheque issued by him is not presented within six month from the date of its issue. If the cheque has been issued by a Bank, then it can be requested to revalidate it if it is not presented within six months from the date of issue.
