how to close sole proprietor bank account after his death when he has not given nomination facility. can proprietor account can be transfer to wife name.

submit heirship certificate. indemnity as required by the bank. The bank will then recognise the legal heirs' entitlement to the credit balance in the account and thereupon the account can be closed
