Legal Question in Banking Law in India
A company named ABC is having a unit in the name XYZ. The usual procedure followed is that the customer of the compnay issues cheque mentioning the payee as "XYZ". Is it proper on the part of the company to send for collection through the account of the company, the cheques so received or is it compulsory that the cheques are received in the name of ABC itself.
