How can I get complete rules and regulations on compassionate ground appointments in the Bank of India? I've been trying to get this info since 2003 when my father passed away while in service with the above mentioned bank. Please help!

Bank of India is a nationalised bank. get the info under Right to Information Act
you can contact the bank directly and seek information required. why you waited for more than seven years for the appointment. were you minor at that time?
There is hardly any chance for a compassionate appointment after 7 years. The Supreme Court has ruled that the compassionate appointment can be given ONLY to meet the emergent situation arising out of death of an employee; and if the family has been able to cope with the tragedy, other means of compensation, else than an appointment on compassionate grounds, should be adopted.
