Legal Question in Banking Law in India

credit card repayment

availed a loan in dubai against credit card. lost the job and returned to india. What are the legal implications when not in a positon to repay the outstandings. not a very big amount

irrespective of the amount involved, the implications remain same. He is liable to pay the amount like anyother person and may be sent to civil prison, in case not in a position to pay, in execution proceedings.

You can be sued in dubai for non repayment of loan amount, whether it is a big or small amount, what ever legal consequence are there as per law of dubai would have to be faced.

They can also serve summons you in india, and can get ur presence through deplomat.
