Legal Question in Banking Law in India

I was having credit cards long back but due financial crises i haven't paid the outstandings since long time , 2 years back when i received a call from respective bank for payment i apologies for the delay in payment and explain them my financial situation & told clearly that I have intentions to pay the dues but due financial problem it is very hard for me to pay it in on shot or in 3 equal installments and requested them to give me some relaxations in paying the dues back & suggested that I will pay Rs.1000 / month and I was ready to sign the cheque . But they said it is not possible but they will return to me with good solution . And after that they stopped calling me . Today morning all of sudden some person from Delhi called to my brother in law stating that he is Police officer and he has non-bailable warrant against me and my wife for non paying the credit card outstanding . Due this call my complete family got disturbed . This call pushed me into deep mental deep-ration . Please suggest what can i do on this as i dont have complete money with me but having intentions to pay back .
