dd lost
i send a dd to delhi by post. the dd was lost. i made a duplicate dd and also send oftunnly the duplicate dd was lost. i want the dd amount deposite in my account.what is the procedure

Please consult the bank which has issued the draft about the procedure as the same differs from bank to bank. In any case you will be required to execute an indemnity bond and may also be required to keep sufficient balance equvivalent to the DD amount in your account for at least six months.
