Legal Question in Banking Law in India
Dear Sir,
I have taken a personal loan of 3.5lacs in november 2010 at HDFC bank,Bangalore,Now I want to close this loan my qurstions are-
1. Wthater the loan can be closed.
2.If yes what will be the pre-close amount that bank will be charging.
3.After closing this loan I can go for home loan?

you can have the loan account closed by paying the outstandings. Pl.check with the bank as to the charges for foreclosure. If it is very high, complain to RBI/Banking ombudsman. You can always apply for home loan, after closing your personal loan account. It depends upon the bank whom you approach whether or not it will grant u the loan.
