Legal Question in Banking Law in India
Dear Sir/madam
I am having an account at Indusind Bank wherein looking at the bank statement it reflects some enteries done by the banker in my account i.e money first debited & then credited in my account next day in consideration to the cheque instruments which are physically present with me as on date & not with the banker. Also they had sold me a gold coin for which I've signed a voucher amting to Rs 8400 & Rs 9373 have been debited from my a/c.Secondly they have also sold me a General Insurance policy in August 2009 for which I have'nt received any policy document till yet.Pls tell whether I can go in for a monetary compensation for harrasement occured to me or not.Pls suggest.
Regards
Vijay

1 Answer from Attorneys
issue notice through lawyer pointing out the discrepancies and claiming compensation. Also demand the deliver of the insurance policy which they have sold to you, for which amounts have been debited to your account. If they fail to make amends, complain to Banking Ombudsman for deficiency of service and compensation.
