whether drawee bank (customer is a soleproprietorship concern - proprietor died) is justified in honouring cheques which was dated prior to the death of the customer (proprietor)?

If the bank was not aware of the death, the bank was jusified in honouring the heque.

yes as they are post dated cheques ...and signed when the proprietor ws living
