The employees of a Rural Bank are neither Central Government nor State Government employees. However a Rural bank which is sponsored by a public sector bank in association with State and or Central Government is amenable to the writ jurisdiction of the High Court and Supreme Court for issue of writs if there is violation of statutory rights of the employee of the Bank.
