Legal Question in Banking Law in India
My Father issued me a SBI cheque of amount 6 lacs, which I deposited in Axis bank, in which I hold an account. The eposit slip and the cheque were duly filled and signed (also confirmed by the bank employee who received it). SBI did not hnour it and rejected the cheque. What recourse is available in this case?

in case the cheque was duly executed and deposited, the bank may be liable for deficiency of service and for that you may file a complaint before the consumer forum in noida.
