Legal Question in Banking Law in India
i filed a case against boucing of cheques under section 138 five years ago and finally had to compromise it even below the principal amount and my question is if i can file a recovery suit for it @18% p.a. and also my loser lawyer is asking for an verbally agreed amount of 10% from me
but i cannot understand, he has lost the case and then also he is demanding money
so am i liable to pay him and what happens if dont pay him

If you have compromise the case, where is the question of losing the case. Secondly lawyer fees doesn't depend on client's losing or winning the case.
