Legal Question in Banking Law in India
I gave a post dated cheque to an individual with a promise that he would give me certain documents. but till the last day he did not and said unless he encashes the cheque he would not. Fearing he might not give me the details i got the withdrew money from the bank and therefore the cheque got bounced. now he is charging me for bounce cheque. how do i defend myself/

You may have to defend yourself in the court by establishing "want of consideration" for the cheque amount.
