Legal Question in Banking Law in India
hii sir.,
before 1 week a cheque was submitted in canara bank for clearance , the cheque were submitted by me ,but that cheque was ma mothers cheque book , the TELLER told me to sign in the back of the cheque....and i signed THERE WAS A PROBLEM OF; 'SIGNATURE DIFFERS'
BUT AT THAT TIME am came back to home....but that cheque was left in the bank...
me and mother from oman and its nri a/c
yestedrday bank send a postcard that
'{{come immediately to the bank :
:REFERENCE: CHEQUE ISSUED }}
but this time mother was not here ,she gone to oman
IS IT ANY PROBLEM , WITHOUT CAME TO BANK FOR TAKE THAT CHEQUE????
IF ANY ONE WILL NOT CAME TO BANK ACCORDING TO THE REF: POSTCARD
IS THEY SEND ANOTHER CARD OR CONTACT....???
any problem with this..........

Since it is u who lodged the cheque, you can have the cheque returned to you. Pl.approach the bank , give a letter and take back the cheque. You cannot expect the bank to continue to communicate.
