Home loan

I applied for home loan from Reliance Capital Limited. My loan is rejected till Reliance charged me processing fee of Rs.2247. This is legal ? If illegal what should I do?

Basically whether Reliance Capital is dealing with Home Loan . If its article and memorandum provides so. You should have checked all the terms and conditions , formalities before you processed loan application . if all the required criteria are fulfilled by you then such question doesnot have arisen. In my opinion if for confirming whether you are eligible or not some fees are scheduled it is upto you whether to test your eliegibility. If you are decived and are fruadulently cheated , you can well approach to consumer court

This is legal. You are binded under the terms and conditions when you sign the agreement.

Processing fees are normal in these days. If your loan application has been rejected without any agreeable reason, you can file a complaint in the District Consumer Disputes Redressal Forum for compensation

NO. They cannot charge in the garb of processing fee. you can go to consumer forum for the redressal.
