Legal Question in Banking Law in
My husband is no more but there is no will made by him . Do we need succession letter for official clearance purpose.

Yes you have to get the succession certificate in case of absence of will or in the absence of nomination.

However, if the office wants, in case of no dispute between the legal heirs, the funds could be released on the basis of affidavit and an indemnity bond and without succession certificate
