Legal Question in Banking Law in India
I had issued a cheque of INR 1,8000 in March 2010 to a person as a security, i paid him INR 10,000 to INR 12,000 every month, i have the transfer slips, in Sep 2010he deposited the cheque and apoligised stating that it was a mistake, now as of today there is a balance of INR 13,000 to be paid , i had asked for the cheque and to take back the balance amount, he has not reverted back to my phone calls nor my e-mail, is there any possiblity that he can redeposit the cheque and claim for full amount or what are the bad happening i can except because of this cheque.

Foul plays are difficult to predict.
Have appropriate communications issued to person holding your cheque as also report the matter to bank and police.
