Legal Question in Banking Law in India
i have issued a cheque of rs 30000 to some one from my individual account and before the due date i have stoped the payment of cheque but he bouned the cheque and not give me any information till 8 months not any notice of payment and not any conversation in october 2011 to july 2012 now he saying i am filing a complain against u for cheque bouncing what can i do can u tell me my defence because he force me to sign the cheque on october 2011. ravi new delhi

He is just fibbing with you as the limitation period to send the notice and subsequently the to file the complaint is over . So relax.

He can't file complaint u/s 138 NI Act as limitation period is over.
