Legal Question in Banking Law in India

First Joint bank account(either or survivor) was my father or mother name. my father died 2008 now my mother remove his name and added my name jointly in the account. 2009 my mother pass away than I remove my mother name in the account and account continous from my single name. Meanwhile my brother challege to bank and says my name added not as per banking rules and told to bank my mother not entitled to add my name. than bank stop my payment and demand succession certificate. what it is right or wrong. NOTE:- please told me can survivor not entitle to add new name now either died.( either was my father)

The Bank has to honour your name having been included by your mother as survivor. . The survivor is entitled to add another name. Bank cannot refuse to pay to the survivor. Bank cannot ask for succession certificate from you.File a case against the Bank before Banking ombudsman and Consumer forum
