Legal Question in Banking Law in India
my landlord has defaulted on home loan. he is now not traceable. bank authorities have told they will get us vacated in 15 days. what can i do.

They cannot do it just in 15 days. When they come for taking possession, lodge your protest, If still they take symbolic possession, file Sec.17 application in DRT and try to get a verdict that the Bank has to recognise your tenancy and offer to pay them the rent.

bank has to right to eviction of tenant unless and until court orders so. for court to do so, you will get all the opportunities to defend and object. The process cannot be completed in 15 days.
